So many epic things happened during this Superbowl! Many are claiming that this is the most exciting one we've had in a while, and I can't disagree... especially being a hardcore Patriots fan! (Sorry, Seahawks- but you guys won last year!)
The last few minutes of the game were the best. Chris and I were at a friend's house for the game and I had the worst headache. I'm not sure how to classify it, except that I've had the flu all week and it felt like I had a build up of pressure in my skull to the point of nausea. I wanted to try to stick it out and finish watching the game before we left, and I'm so glad we did. After that crazy catch, I was shocked, a little mad, but mostly sad. I thought we were done. AND THEN THIS HAPPENED.
There was definitely celebration in our friend's Patriot household (only the husband is a fan- the wife, not so much); my uncle called cheering from Maine; I received and sent many exclamatory texts; and I smiled and shared my joy with Chris.
How did you guys feel about the half-time show? I never really have an opinion on these things. Usually everyone hates them and there are a select few that love them. I generally think everyone does a good job... except for that one time.
P.S. Don't forget about this fight during the game, and the traditional winner's bath.
P.P.S. Check out my Pats' earrings, face tattoo & nails for the game.
