This was the first time I've used my Studio Calico PL box! I was so excited, and everything came in handy. I actually didn't use any of my PL Seafoam Core Kit cards for this layout. Sorry I've been so behind on doing PL and posting it! This weekend is the first time I've been able to sit down and actually do a layout.
The June wood piece is from the June Calico kit, as well as the wooden arrow, and the "7" ticket, as far as embellishments go. I watched the Japan Colombia game, and although I pretty much knew Japan would lose, it still hurt! I took a selfie that I loved, so I had to include it (:
I loved these cards! My handwriting was pretty terrible for the journaling card, but it's the memories that count!
The first time I saw any World Cups games was at Taco Bus with Jennifer. I ended up catching one or two more, then both my teams got booted out, so I didn't really care to watch the rest. I'm not a big soccer person to begin with!
This picture with Bridget is old, but it's the only one of us that we have! Excuse the fact that we're all cut out of it- she took the picture for instagram purposes and figured it was decent enough. I played around with drawing a border- not a huge fan of it, but it doesn't look bad! I used a scrapbook paper to post the picture on.
I love what I came up with for the King of Tokyo & Scrabble documentation! It's usually difficult for me to work square photos into a layout because they don't perfectly fit anywhere, so I had to be creative (: I also had fun with all the embellishment cards!
All cards are from the Studio Calico PL Monthly Kit and all pictures are ordered from PostalPix. The photo pockets on the left & right are from PL Design A. Let me know if you guys have any questions! Feel free to link to your PL layouts- they're my favorite to look at (:
