I crafted this card months ago, and obviously, it didn't turn out quite like how I envisioned. The tree is a little sad looking, the washi tape probably doesn't really belong, and the leaves aren't dark enough, etc. Anyway, I'd like to keep to the sentiment that "it's the thought that counts!" Out of every handful of cards or projects you make, there will always be at least one that didn't turn out how you wanted or that looks sub-par. This is that one for me. However, I didn't want to scrap it because the thought was there and so was the effort and idea.
What do you guys think? Would you have scrapped this card or have been any less grateful for a handmade thank you card if it didn't look 'perfect'? (FYI: I made these cards during the last weeks of my graduating semester, so... maybe if I had made this one at another time, it would've been a different story)
Please send me links to your projects in the comments- I'd love to look through them! Happy Monday! (:
