Brian is the name of my boyfriend's Dad, who gave me a very generous Graduation gift! There are a handful of others who also gave me cards and/or money, so I need to send them a thank you card as well. I think there's 6 others on the list, so luckily I will have plenty of content for the coming weeks!
Sometime's its difficult to come up with unique ideas, especially when doing a bunch of cards all at once, so inspiration is occasionally derived from Pinterest. If I strictly recreate anyone's work, I will link them in the blog post (and I would hope others would do the same if they recreated my work as well).
This card is also on the simple side, but sometimes it's better to use space wisely while not letting it get too cluttered! (maybe simple is my style- but you can add to the design to personalize it to your needs!) To create this card, I drew a triangle on cardboard that I felt was adequate, and used it as a template for the other triangles. I wanted to maintain the raised nature of the card, so I drew the 'thank you' and cut it out to glue onto the card since I am still saving for a Cameo Cutter! I stuck with darker colors to give it a manlier vibe, but you can create this card with pinks and purples or pastels for a different audience.
If you guys hand make any cards (regardless if they are similar to mine), I'd love to see them all! Happy Wednesday (:
