I debated whether or not I wanted to publish, or even write this post. Should I ignore the fact that I didn't post for a few weeks? Would you guys care what I had to say? Did anyone even notice? Either way, I thought it would be good to write a quick post about this topic, since it happens to almost everyone- hopefully someone could relate.
There's no grand excuse why I haven't posted the last few Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I even had a whole week off of work due to Spring Break, and I didn't even manage to churn out a single post. I had my mind on more pressing matters that week- like the fact that Chris and I had our engagement shoot out of town, we had 2 impromptu guests spend the night, I had work and chores I needed to catch up on, and my brother was coming into town so we spent a few days with my parents. The week before and after were just too filled to think about this internet space.
When I missed the first post or two, I thought I might just 'catch up' by posting on my non-scheduled days in order to have the same amount of posts. Then, when that didn't happen due to regular life, I decided I would just chalk this up to a short hiatus. There have been some weeks where I was about a week ahead, but it didn't last long.
I am hoping that a non-scheduled hiatus won't happen again because I'll be more prepared with prepping future posts and having them in the queue. I'm sorry about not having anything recently! I am excited about this blog, and I love writing posts so I'll be sticking around.
I am so ready for this season of life and the seasons that are coming up, and I'm grateful for everyone who takes their time to read my blog and especially those who comment :) I can't wait to share more wedding stuff, teaching things, and other miscellaneous topics!
I would love to know what everyone's been up to since I've been MIA- drop a comment below! By the way, I've also been missing out on reading blogs and other internet-related things for a little while and I can't wait to catch up!
Have you ever had an unexpected blogging break? How did you handle it? How long until you posted again?
