Think about 5 words that describe who you are. Any 5 adjectives. Be honest with yourself, and don't explain your choices- there's no need.
After you've written them down (or typed as a comment, which I'd love!), think about how easy or difficult this was to write, and how different (or maybe not different) those 5 words will be in 10 years. How different were they 5 years ago? It's crazy to think about how different we are in each period of our lives- how much we grow and change. Maybe in 10 years, I can add mother to my list, or wife.
Here's mine currently: Hopeful, student, emotional, lover, kind.
I read about 5 words from one of my favorite bloggers, Kelsey Esp., who read it from one of her favorites. I thought it was super interesting to think about. If you're really honest with yourself, this could be such an inspiring thing. Maybe you're depressed but you didn't want to admit it to yourself... and now that you have, you can reevaluate your life. Or maybe you're not willing to put 'husband' on your list- is it because you know you're not doing the best job you could be? Why did you choose the words you did and why not other words that came across your mind?
Hopefully this is an engaging, freeing and eye-opening activity! I'd love to hear what you guys think and what your 5 words are.
