Writing down goals and sharing your goals with others are great motivators to help you stay accountable. Luckily, drawing up a blog post accomplishes both simultaneously!
A few short-time goals (these will be revised at some point in the future, I'm sure) include:
-Posting 3x a week (Mon, Wed, Fri)
-Figuring out amazing regular content
-Getting my social media on track
Some blog posts I know are coming very, very soon include my grad cap (I did a galaxy theme) and possibly a tutorial later on if anyone is interested, Project Life (I should be getting my essentials today (!) and pictures delivered within a week), and a card-making 'tutorial'.
Life update: I have been employed as a marketing clerk for two and a half years now, and I love where I work. The major downside is my pay, which is only slightly higher than minimum wage. I am so grateful that I am employed, but I feel that I can and should be worth more than what I currently bring in. There are other practical reasons for my drive to earn more: I am starting Grad school soon and moving into a non-student-housing apartment with my boyfriend in 2 months! (I'm super excited to start a new chapter with my boyfriend, but I am MUCH more excited to not have to deal with the disgusting habits of 5 other people!) So, I am looking for a new part-time job, but if I don't find anything during the summer or fall, I will most likely stick with what I have.
I am way more prone to taking vertical pictures instead of horizontal ones, even though I've realized horizontal tends to look cleaner on blogs. Something to keep in mind as I progress.
Also, as I am going to grad school for Elementary Education, I'm SURE there will be upcoming content that is teaching and kid related, so hopefully it appeals to blog readers with children, and not just other teachers!
